How can i look up a dean guitars serial number?
Hi, I might be able to help you identify your guitar. If you can email me photos and a serial number I can ask My friends that work for BC Rich greattone79 icloud. I been looking for a replacement part and was asked for info including serial number so the guitar store could locate parts bridge magnets. I think I have found the serial number on my KK. Would the number on the fretboard be the serial number or is it somewhere else on the guitar? Also, do they really need the serial to find replacement parts or do the idiots think I stole my own guitar?

You must first determine what type of bridge is on your guitar. If you have a Floyd Rose system, there are 2 studs which hold the bridge system in place. You may adjust either the high or low side up or down with a 3mm wrench to achieve the desired action height. If you have a tune-o-matic style bridge, then you may adjust your action with a flat-head screwdriver on either the treble or bass side.

The early PRS guitars were absolutely the best guitars I had ever seen or played in my life. The absolute best thing that Paul ever did was to bring the perceived price of an electric guitar up to the level where a consumer would actually consider buying a custom made instrument. Today there are hundreds of small builders who owe their success to Paul. I am one of them. These other companies even though they built great guitars failed to capture the imagination and hearts of thousands of guitarists who could afford to purchase a beautiful guitar.
Paul succeeded where all others failed. I am not a huge fan of what he is doing today but his guitars will always have a special place in my heart. They were so enthusiastic that I simply could not ignore them. I will generally check them out and occasionally I will find a real diamond in the rough. In this case these 2 guys were incessantly driving me up the wall. I had never been pitched so strongly about any other guitar up until that time and to this day.

Physical A copper disc Copper just above its melting point keeps its pink luster color when enough light outshines the orange incandescence color. Copper, silver , and gold are in group 11 of the periodic table; these three metals have one s-orbital electron on top of a filled d- electron shell and are characterized by high ductility , and electrical and thermal conductivity.
The filled d-shells in these elements contribute little to interatomic interactions, which are dominated by the s-electrons through metallic bonds. Unlike metals with incomplete d-shells, metallic bonds in copper are lacking a covalent character and are relatively weak. This observation explains the low hardness and high ductility of single crystals of copper. For this reason, copper is usually supplied in a fine-grained polycrystalline form, which has greater strength than monocrystalline forms.
The characteristic color of copper results from the electronic transitions between the filled 3d and half-empty 4s atomic shells — the energy difference between these shells corresponds to orange light. As with other metals, if copper is put in contact with another metal, galvanic corrosion will occur. The contrast between the refurbished copper installed in and the green color of the original copper is clearly seen. Copper does not react with water, but it does slowly react with atmospheric oxygen to form a layer of brown-black copper oxide which, unlike the rust that forms on iron in moist air, protects the underlying metal from further corrosion passivation.
A green layer of verdigris copper carbonate can often be seen on old copper structures, such as the roofing of many older buildings and the Statue of Liberty.

I hope more caring adults will join us so they too can experience the positive impact of mentoring. TeamMates serves close to 8, youth in more than communities across Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas and Iowa. Mentors meet with their mentees one-on-one in school, once a week, during the academic year.
Mentees can be nominated one of three ways. They can be nominated by a parent, a school staff member, or self-nomination. Mentors are matched with mentees based on interests and life experiences. Part I As student guitarists, we learned that J. Bach wrote four suites and a number of miscellaneous pieces for the lute, now played on the guitar. A more up-to-date reading of the evidence would be that Bach did not write any music specifically intended for solo lute.
Recent scholarship and the work of a number of makers and players of 18th Century-style keyboards have made it obvious that Bach wrote the music for, and probably at, the lute-harpsichord. The real story is everything that happened after his death that connects the works in question to the lute. Briefly, my argument runs like this:

I picked up guitar in high school, jammed in undergrad, and never really learned more than I needed to strum some college party favorites. Acoustic guitar was the perfect instrument for me because I could grab it and, without needing any special training, gear, or fancy musical knowledge make a great sound with a handful of simple chords. Guitar is also a social instrument. Perhaps the most notable thing about me as a guitarist was my instrument, which far surpassed me in terms of its quality: Why should you care what guitar I had?
Sound quality, playability, and longevity skyrocket when you transition from your first plywood or cardboard thrasher to a real wood guitar. Looking back, I realize I got lucky — the guys there steered me towards one of the great American guitar brands, crafted out of some of the best materials you can find for a quality and, at the time, entry-level premium flat-top.
I asked Marty to break down the must-have qualities of a lifetime guitar. What sounds bright and brassy to one ear might sound muddy and lack precision to someone else. As Marty tells it, you simply have to listen to a bunch of guitars. Tone is fairly subtle and everyone has different tastes. Guitars are no different. Entry-level, mass-produced guitars are made from inexpensive, mass-produced materials and their tone quality suffers as a result.

This amp was built to play larger halls and outdoor concerts. The lack of reverb was not a big issue as most live performances had acoustics full of reverberation halls, arenas. Peter Traynor built these things to stand up to road abuse, unlike a lot of vintage stuff.
It sounds great with either bass and guitar, providing a clean and loud tone. Works great in large club settings.
Any BC Rich guitar with an R in the front of its serial number is an Ed Roman fake. Ed Roman was a BC Rich dealer back in the 80’s. He purchased a couple of body blanks from BC Rich, copied them, then slapped the BC Rich name on them and his own serial number, then sold them as BC Rich guitars when they weren’t officially licensed, manufactured.

Ibanez Rocket Roll Sr. The first real electric guitar I ever bought was just like this guitar. Neal Moser has had a long career in the music industry, dating back to when he worked for Vox Guitars & Amps. Neal ran the assembly/setup shop and did the final setup work on B.C. The progress of this type of work is slow, hence the long hiatus, however, a lot of new data have been collected regarding Fender amplifiers, including production numbers. Advances have been made with regards to the production of tolex amps and it appears that much of this information can be applied to late s tweed amps as well. In addition, the dating-by-serial number tables have been revised and are more accurate.
The bad news is that there is still a lot of work that needs to be done on the silverface amps. Unfortunately, there is some sad news to report as well. Fellow Fender amp researcher, Greg Huntington, passed away June 5, after losing his battle with cancer.
